WINNER v/s LOSER

Winners have dreams;
Losers have schemes.

Winners see the grains;
Losers see the pain.

Winners see the potential;
Losers see the past.

Winners make it happen;
Losers let it happen.

Winners see possibilities;
Losers see problems.

Winners makes commitments;
Losers makes promises.

Winners are a part of the team;
Losers are apart from the team.

Winner always has a programmed
Loser always has an excuse.

Winner says "Let me do it for you";
Loser says "That is not my job".

Winners say "I must do something";
Losers say "Something must be done".

Winner is always a part of the answer;
Loser is always a part of the problem.

Winner sees an answer for every problem;
Loser sees a problem for every answer.

Winners believe in win/win;
Loser believe for them to win, someone has to lose.

Winner says "It may be difficult but it is possible";
Loser says "It may be possible but it is too difficult".

Winner makes a mistake. he says "I was wrong";
Loser makes a mistake, he says "It wasn't my fault"

Knowlez is Power

A Jobless man applied for the position of 'office boy' at Microsoft. The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test.

'You are employed' he said. Give me your e-mail address and I'll send you the application to fill in, as well as date when you may start.
...
The man replied 'But I don't have a computer, neither an email'.

'I'm sorry', said the HR manager. If you don't have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn't exist, cannot have the job.'

The man left with no hope at all. He didn't know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket.. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10Kg tomato crate.

He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In less than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the operation three times, and returned home with $60.

The man realized that he can survive by this way, and started to go everyday earlier, and return late. Thus, his money doubled or tripled everyday. Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles. 5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers in the US ..

He started to plan his family's future, and decided to have a life insurance. He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan... When the conversation was concluded the broker asked him his email. The man replied,'I don't have an email.'

The broker answered curiously, 'You don't have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an e mail?!!' The man thought for a while and replied, 'Yes, I'd be an office boy at Microsoft!'

Moral of the story

Moral 1
Internet is not the solution to your life..

Moral 2
Even if you don't have Internet and work hard, you can be a millionaire.

Law Of The Garbage Truck.

Law of the Garbage Truck.

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.

My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the ...other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.

My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly. So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy could almost ruin your car and sent us to the hospital!'

This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.'

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on.

Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day.

Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets,

So ... Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't.

Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

Have a garbage-free Life..!!

And

Remember "Forget" & "Forgive" are two Great words ..
Wishing you a Great Teachers Day ahead

Dream Leader

TOP TEN Ground Rules for Corporate Leaders :
------------------------------------------------------
 #1"Do NOT allow any one to PLAY POLITICS WITH their SUBORDINATES".

... #2 "Listen and speak to the Employees at the Lowest Level. (workers/mazdoors).
They not only know the Problems of the Organization but also know the Solution."

#3 "Take good care of your Employees. If Employees are Happy they will ensure Customers are Happy thus creating a WIN-WIN situation for everyone."

#4 "Employees do not leave the Organization. They Leave their Managers (Damagers)"

#5 "The Top Leader in an Organization should encourage
"Open Communication" from all Staff to ensure a "Zero Politics
( Corruption free)" Organization. This will Shift the Focus
of every Employee in the Right direction and towards "Continuous GROWTH".

#6 "Qualifications of an Individual cannot Guarantee Loyalty.
"Attitude" is the Key. "Attitude" will decide how high ("Altitude")
the Employee will RISE in the Organization.

#7 "To Increase Profits every Year Cut the Costs. 3 ways to do this :
a) Discourage Travel. Use TECHNOLOGY : Video Conferencing, Tele conferencing, Webinar etc.
b) All Employees including all Managers travel only by Economy Class. (WIPRO example)
c) Encourage people to work from Home and Stay connected with Skype."

#8 "During every Festival the Top Leaders should visit the homes of Randomly selected 7 Employees. This will help create great connect with the Employees. If this can be done then Employees will not need a "Union" to fight with the Management. The Channels of Communication will be wide OPEN all the time. "

#9 "Communicate with your Employees on a Daily basis. Taking a walk around the Office or Factory and meeting the Employees and Managers on a Regular basis will Build Trust and Lasting Relationships. While meeting ask the Employees regarding the Problems they are facing. They will be only Glad to tell not only the Problems but
will also provide the Best solutions. Employees at the Lowest Level and the Top LEADER must communicate on a DAILY basis. "

#10 "If any Employee Resigns from the Organization, an Exit Interview must be
conducted by an Independent External Organization to Understand and Record the
Real Reasons for the Employee Quitting the Organization. By doing this the
Existing employees can be Saved from Quitting the Organization".

Best wishes.

Has Water Entered My Ship ?

Think and Decide: Has Water Entered My Ship?
 In 1923, eight of the wealthiest people in the world met. Their combined wealth, it is estimated, exceeded the wealth of the government of the United States at that time. These men certainly knew how to make a living and accumulate wealth.
 But let's examine what happened to them 25 years later.
1. President of the largest steel company, Charles Schwab, lived on borrowed capital for five years before he died bankrupt.

2. President of the largest gas company, Howard Hubson, went insane.

3. One of the greatest commodity traders, Arthur Cutton, died insolvent.

4. President of the New York Stock Exchange, Richard Whitney, was sent to jail.

5. A member of the President's Cabinet, Albert Fall, was pardoned from jail to go home and die in peace.

6. The greatest "bear" on Wall Street, Jessie Livermore, and committed suicide.

7. President of the world's greatest monopoly, Ivar Krueger, committed suicide.

8. President of the Bank of International Settlement, Leon Fraser, committed suicide.

What they forgot was how to make a life!

Money in itself is not evil!

Money provides food for the hungry, medicine for the sick, clothes for the needy. Money is only a medium of exchange.

We need two kinds of education. One that teaches us how to make a living and one that teaches us how to live.

There are people who are so engrossed in their professional life that they neglect their family, health and social responsibilities. If asked why they do this they would reply that they were doing it for their family.

Our kids are sleeping when we leave home. They are sleeping when we come home. Twenty years later, we'll turn back, and they'll all be gone.

Without water, a ship cannot move. The ship needs water, but if the water gets into the ship, the ship will face problems. What was once a means of living for the ship will now become a means of destruction?

Similarly we live in a time where earning is a necessity but let not the earning enter our hearts, for what was once a means of living will be become a means of destruction.

Friends, take a moment and ask yourself.... has water entered my ship?

If you Like to motivate your friends in your network then this worth clicking Like & Share ?

Knowlez HRBanco

Knowlez HRBanco
The aim of the "HR Transformation Knowledge Bank" is to provide a set of useful resources for all those involved in transforming Human Resources and People Management.
Knowlez HRBanco's business model:

knowlezhrbanco@gmail.com.

We are all continually faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as insoluble problems. How does the leader discover the truth of that statement today? As the economic recession seems to do a “I’m here now- I’m not here now”, as stories of doom and gloom are interspersed with sprinklings of good news, how does the leader make a difference in her organizational context?

When organizations are operating in difficult circumstances and struggle to sustain business performance, Managing Directors and CEOs are often hard pressed to maintain positive communication with employees. In the absence of information from the top, unfounded rumors will inevitably fill the void. Rumors quickly become fact and tension builds. Employees quickly become distracted, individual and department performance levels fall, and the difficult situation faced by the organization is magnified. Being involved with an organization confronting this situation some years ago, I found a solution that was surprisingly simple, effective and inexpensive. It proved that HR can play a very positive and influential role in engaging staff, heightening focus on work outcomes and improving overall business performance during tough times.
